Water Rates
Your water bill is comprised of two components:
Meter Service Charge
Meter Service Charge is a fixed bimonthly fee. The Meter Service Charge is based on the size of your water meter and covers the production of water, maintenance of facilities (reservoir, production wells, pipelines), electrical costs for pumping water, and other fixed operating costs.
Water Consumption
Water Consumption Charge covers the actual cost of water consumed. There is a two-tier consumption charge with 1 unit being equal to 100 gallons.
Tiers
- $0.610 per for the 0 to 125 units consumed
- $0.776 per unit over 125 units consumed every bimonthly period
