Community
Needs Assessment for Federally Funded Programs
In
order to receive federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development to use toward the development of affordable
housing, provision of decent housing in suitable living environments;
and expanding economic opportunity for low and moderate-income
individuals and families, the City is required to prepare a 5-year
planning document, called the Consolidated Plan, that identifies
the City’s community’s priority needs, short- and
long-term goals and objectives and strategies and timetables for
achieving these goals.
Your
opinion is important to us. Help the City develop effective investment
strategies to meet these needs using the City Community Development
Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency
Shelter Grant (ESG) programs by completing the survey below.
