In addition, it outlines the rules residents, business owners and developers must follow when constructing new or adding onto existing housing units and commercial properties. The feedback provided in this survey will help the City make changes to existing rules and determine whether new rules are needed. Survey respondents will remain anonymous. In addition, the City is studying the feasibility of creating a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District. This is when new property tax revenue increases are placed in a special fund to pay for public improvements such as street repairs and landscape medians and for community benefits such as affordable housing and parks. A community garden is a single piece of land gardened collectively by a group of people and utilizes either individual or shared plots, on private or public land, while producing fruits, vegetables, and/or other plants. We would like to request your feedback related to adding community gardens in the neighborhood. The benefits of a community garden include building community, promoting healthy lifestyles, providing learning opportunities, and having access to fresh produce.
