I am interested in working for the City of El Monte. How do I find out about vacancies and apply for a job?: All job openings are posted on the city website under employment. Online applications are accepted by simply clicking the “Apply” button that is located in the top right corner of each vacancy announcement. An applicant will then need to create or log into their Government Jobs account to submit their application. 2. I am a vendor with items that the City may find useful. How would I sell items to the City and who would I contact for an appointment?: The Purchasing Division can be contacted directly at 626-580-2065 to make an appointment with the Purchasing Agent.

3. I really like the City web site, but I have a recommended change. Who would I contact?: The Information Technology Division can be reached at 626 580-2036, or you can email City of El Monte.

4. What should I do to prepare myself, my family and my business for an emergency or local disaster?: There are many things that you should consider doing. The first is to contact the City of El Monte Disaster Preparedness Coordinator at 626-580-2276 to discuss your specific situation.
