Basketball

Designed to provide and promote well-being through recreational and social activities.  All leagues are well organized and include officiating, scorekeeping, statistics, and awards for the top teams.  All participants must be 18 years old and over. Adult Basketball Leagues play on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Lambert Park Bernie Boomer Gymnasium.  Tuesday night is the 40 and Over Division. Thursday nights is the Open Division with no height restrictions on participants. Friday nights is the 6' 1" & Under Division (no exceptions). Leagues culminate with a season ending tournament to decide championship. League format is a round robin set of games.  Registration is currently being accepted online on El Monte’s ActiveNet registration system or at the El Monte Community Center-Parks & Recreation Office.  For more information, please call (626) 580-2216.

Softball

Designed to provide and promote well-being through recreational and social activities.  All leagues are well organized and include field preparation, umpiring, scorekeeping, statistics, and awards for the top teams. All participants must be 18 years old. Men’s Supplied Bat League will be played on Tuesdays. Men's softball games will be played on Fridays and Sundays. Co-ed softball games will be played on Wednesdays. All games are played at Mt. View Park and include one game ball provided by the city. The home team is responsible for providing a playable back up ball.  A minimum of four females is required to play a co-ed game.  Registration is currently being accepted online on El Monte’s ActiveNet registration system or at the El Monte Community Center -Parks & Recreation Office.  For more information, please call (626) 580-2216.

Adult Golf League

The El Monte Parks and Recreation Division will be hosting its 63rd Annual Adult Golf League.  Registration is $125.00 before February 7th and $140.00 after February 7th. Pay fees online on El Monte’s ActiveNet registration system or at the El Monte Community Center-Parks & Recreation Office.  Leagues are scheduled to begin March 6, 2017.  Enrollment is limited; please sign up as early as possible. Format is match play in each league and teams consist of two men.  Handicaps are adjusted weekly from matches played. You may choose your partner or we can place you on a team. Teams contact each other to set match times from the league schedule. Men’s League will play on any regulation course and can play either 9 or 18 holes in each match. Teams will play 4-6 matches from early March to May. Registration include rules of play, league schedule, mailing of weekly standings and adjusted handicaps, league and tournament awards, tee favors, Golfers Breakfast, green fees, golf cart and dinner fees for the Annual Byron E. Thompson Golf Tournament held at the Los Serrano’s Country Club in Chino Hills.
